Subscription Policy

1. Subscription Tiers
OneBudget offers two subscription tiers to meet your budgeting needs:
Free Tier

Premium Tier
$9.99
per month$79.99

- Priority support

- Data export (CSV)
- Unlimited custom categories
Note: There is no free trial period. All users start on the Free tier and can upgrade to Premium at any time.
2. Billing and Payment
Premium subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and charged via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Billing occurs on the same day each month (for monthly subscriptions) or the same date each year (for annual subscriptions) as your initial purchase date.
Payment Authorization: By subscribing to Premium, you authorize OneBudget to charge your payment method for the initial subscription period and all subsequent renewal periods until you cancel.
3. Service Delivery
OneBudget is a digital service. Upon successful payment of your Premium subscription, you will immediately gain access to all Premium features. There is no physical product to ship or deliver.
Features are delivered through our web application and are accessible as soon as your payment is processed by our payment provider (typically within seconds).
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your Account Settings. To cancel:
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Locate the "Subscription" section
- Click "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- You will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew for the next billing period
- You will automatically revert to the Free tier at the end of your paid period
- Your data and settings will be preserved; only Premium features will be restricted
5. Refund Policy
Due to the immediate digital nature of our service, all Premium subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.
No Partial Refunds:
If you cancel your subscription before the end of a billing period, you will not receive a refund or credit for any unused time. Your Premium access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Exceptions:
- If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using Premium features, please contact support at support@onebudget.ai for resolution
- Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of billing errors or service outages
- Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional refund rights under local consumer protection laws
6. Plan Changes
Upgrading from Free to Premium:
When you upgrade from Free to Premium, your Premium features activate immediately upon payment. You will be charged the full Premium subscription price (monthly or annual) and your billing cycle begins on your upgrade date.
Switching Between Monthly and Annual Plans:
If you switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged twice for overlapping periods.
Downgrading to Free:
To downgrade to the Free tier, simply cancel your Premium subscription. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which you will revert to Free tier limitations (1 institution and 1 account).
7. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period.
If we increase subscription prices, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect via email. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle after the notification period.
You may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to pay the increased amount.
8. Payment Failures
If your payment method fails at renewal, we will attempt to process payment multiple times over several days. If payment continues to fail:
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- Your Premium access may be suspended after a grace period
- You will revert to the Free tier if payment is not resolved
- Your data and settings will be preserved
To update your payment method, visit Account Settings before your renewal date.
9. Taxes
Subscription prices do not include applicable taxes. Depending on your location, you may be charged sales tax, VAT, GST, or other taxes in addition to the subscription price. Tax amounts are calculated and collected by our payment processor (Stripe) based on your billing address.
